ECLI Alumna showcases diverse leadership through community service

Since graduating from the Edward Colman Leadership Institute in 2010, Kola Brown has gone from being a certified Rehab Counselor with Arkansas Rehabilitation Services to her current position as Vocation Expert Witness for the Social Security Administration Office of Disability.  She also serves as a motivational speaker, whose focal topics are dating abuse and domestic violence prevention. Ms. Brown not only speaks on behalf of individuals affected by abuse, but she also spends time volunteering for survivors.

Kola Brown is a testament to the STAND Foundation’s impact on its student’s lives. She asserts that: "Participating in the STAND Leadership Institute allows for individuals to identify their passion and create a viable plan for impacting their community.  The networking, support, and guidance provided by the staff is unfailing and an essential role in the success of participants. I would recommend the STAND Leadership Institute to anyone and any organization looking to develop their leaders. "
