Foundation Leadership Classes Kick Off in Little Rock

On Friday, May 8, The STAND Foundation held the first 2015 ECLI Little Rock Fall Session at Pulaski Technical College in Little Rock, Arkansas.
The class was formally introduced to the STAND Foundation staff along with notable speakers such as, image consultant, Patricia McCullough and the Director of Development at Philander Smith College, Rodney Parks. Topics discussed were ethics and integrity, appearance, healthy lifestyles, and the importance of communications skills.
The class is a part of STAND’s leadership training at higher education institutions, sponsored in part by the Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation, Delta Regional Authority (in select areas), and the Corporation for National and Community Service. The second session for Little Rock will be held Friday, June 12, 2015, at the Clinton School of Public Service.
The STAND Foundation Edward Coleman Leadership Institute is a five-month adult leadership development program supplemented by online assignments. A formal graduation follows the training.
